Porthole<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Compact Disc player integrated in a ship’s hatch. The “Play” function is done by simply closing the hatch. If the hatch is only ajar, it will pause. The forward and reverse functions are done by pressing the two rivets on the bottom. This CD player can be played either flat on a piece of furniture or hung on a wall. The display is located on top. The whole unit weighs 10 kg and took two weeks to build.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Helvetia<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Compact Disc player built into a turn-of-the-century sewing machine. The disc is held on the motor shaft by three balls. All functions are performed by turning the crank: Play, Pause, Fast and Slow forward, Fast and Slow reverse. It takes ten turns of the crank to advance ten tracks. The display is placed exactly where the serial number was.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Baritone<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Compact Disc player built inside a baritone. All functions (play, pause, forward and reverse and stop) are done by pressing the buttons on the baritone. This piece was built to bring back to life a splendid instrument that nobody wanted. It was found in a trumpet repair shop where it was strongly disliked because of the knocks and oxidation. Everything to please me.. <\/p>\n\n\n

Brake discs<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

CD player made inside Ducati motorbike brake discs. All functions are done by the small buttons at the bottom. This player can read either in vertical or horizontal position.<\/p>\n\n\n
