Foucault (30) and Bravais (10) pendulums

2.06-metre pendulum with gimbal suspension and inverted propulsion: this time the propulsion magnets are located below the electromagnet coil, rather than on top as usual.

Cardan joint

The ellipse correction is once again a self-centring floating ring made of two hard disks resting on a bed of microbeads and placed 2/3 of the way up the pendulum. The Foucault / Bravais function is achieved by changing the magnets.

(Different prototypes of magnets used to propel the pendulum)

The electromagnet, its control electronics and the battery are located directly on the pendulum.
